Release Day!

Letters from Cupid (2nd edition) is now available from Dreamspinner Press! Ari and I enjoyed the opportunity to revisit this story, which is one we had fun writing (and rewriting). Sometimes we need a little light, fluffy romance to cleanse our palate after writing heavier angst, and Macon and Derek were both quite cooperative. šŸ˜‰Ā We hope you enjoy this new, expanded version of the story as much as we enjoyed writing it!

After breaking up with his partner, English professor Dr. Derek Chandler feels like a failure who will never win at romance. His aloof colleague, Dr. Macon Pinney, disagrees and pens an anonymous note of encouragement to Derek, which he signs ā€œCupid.ā€ Thus begins an exchange of correspondence, a courtship through words where the two men find out they have a great deal in common. Meanwhile, Derek reaches out to Macon, not knowing Macon is his anonymous pen pal. Derek reveals through his letters that someone close by has piqued his interest. Could he mean Maconā€”or has Macon missed his opportunity and lost Derek to another man?

Perhaps the time has come for Cupid to put in an appearance, and when better to do so than Valentineā€™s Day?

Letters From Cupid now available for preorder!

Our 2nd editionĀ of Letters from Cupid is now available for preorder from Dreamspinner Press! It’s been significantly revised and expanded from the original edition, and we’re pleased with the changes, which we think deepenĀ Derek and Macon’s character and relationship development.

Letters from Cupid will be released on February 14, 2017 ā€” a light contemporary romance for Valentine’s Day!

Self-pub update!

We’ve been working steadily toĀ makeĀ as much of our back catalogue available again as soon as possible, and we now have most of the books that aren’t being republished by Dreamspinner Press up at Amazon.

All five of the Herc’s Mercs books are now available! Book 1 was revised extensively; books 2-5 were not. We’re working on preparing book 6 with a goal of releasing it in January 2017. Next month, we’ll have a cover reveal and a give-away for this brand new addition to the Herc’s Mercs series, so stay tuned!

Also available on Amazon: Holiday Hootenanny, Ghost of a Chance, and Call of the Night Singers.

In other good news, we’ve started making our republished works available on All Romance eBooks as well! Herc’s Mercs: The Bigger They Come is now available at ARE, and we intend to add our other works there as well, including the rest of the Herc’s Mercs series.

I’ve reorganized our website a bit. New releases now have their own page. Our stand alone works are now on one page as well instead of being separated into short stories, novels, and novellas and mixed in with the works from a series. I’ve had separate series pages, so that hasn’t changed; I just updated to reflect new information about each series and its status if it’s no longer available.

Up-coming Releases

As Ari knows, I’m never happier than when we have at least three works listed in our “Coming Soon!” box in the sidebar of our website, so as you can imagine, I’m thrilled that we now have nine works listed!

Dreamspinner has picked up several of our previously published works and will be re-releasing them in 2017, and we’ve gotten a contract and some estimated dates so they’ll be mixed in with our new releases.

I’m happy to say we’ll have something — new or repub — coming out almost every month in 2017, and that’s just with Dreamspinner. We’ve decided to self-publish some of the works that Dreamspinner didn’t pick up, and we’ve set a goal of getting at least one or two out before the end of 2016.

Our main goal is getting the Herc’s Mercs series out, including the 6th book, which hasn’t been published anywhere before. We did a pretty thorough revision of book 1, so our readers will see some significant differences between the repub and the original release. The main thing we changed is Jude’s characterization and his relationship with his grandmother, and we developed the antagonist’s character and presence in the story a little more.

We haven’t decided how much we’ll tweak the other books in the series; right now, our focus is on finishing a couple of new works, one of which has a looming deadline. But we’re looking forward to making the entire series available again soon!

Pulling all those works from our back catalog was ouchy, so I’m pleased so many of them found a new home with Dreamspinner, and I look forward to them being available to our readers again. We’re going to rebuild our catalog slowly but surely, and we’ve already taken the first steps toward making that happen!
